Meet our Pastor

 

Rev. Ernest C. Singh served as pastor and a Bible College teacher in India for five years prior to coming to the United States. He was ordained in 1970 by the Reformed Presbyterian Church in India. He holds an M.Div and M.A. degree from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri and S.T.M.(Master in Sacred Theology) from Concordia Seminary

Rev. Ernest C. Singh came to Chicago in 1982 with a hope to to serve the Indian and Pakistani community. Rev. Singh began Indo-Pak church while working full-time as a social worker at a non-profit religious organization.

 

 

Rev. Singh currently serves both Grace United Methodist, an English speaking congregation in Chicago, as well as Indo-Pak. He is a member of the Northern Illinois Conference and the United Methodist Church.

His wife Sheela Singh is a registered nurse. She plays the harmonium for the church and is an active participant in all aspects of this ministry. He has two sons, Ashish and Anand, who are also active participants in the church.
